Deposit Policy A full night's rate is required for deposit which is applied to your last scheduled night's stay. Deposits are due within 10 days of reserving your cabin. Confirmations will be sent out after we receive your deposit. Balance due upon arrival. Please note you are responsible for all nights that you reserve. No refunds for early departure or late arrivals.
Cancellation Policy As a small and remote lodging establishment cancellations effect us greatly. We ask that you notify us 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. Deposits will be refunded if 30 days notice is given. If less than 30 days notice is given, the deposit will be refunded only if the cabin you reserved is rented to others. Cancellations are not accepted via e-mail. (e-mail is not an exact science but a phone call is immediate and preferred, thanks) Also, there is no credit or refund for early departures.
What's in the cabin? All of our cabins are equipped for housekeeping and include linens, towels, kitchen supplies including dinnerware, cookware, stove , refrigerator, coffee maker, and toaster. Bathrooms have shower, sink, and toilet. Fresh towels are available daily. Our cabins are heated year round and controlled by thermostat. All of our cabins have color satellite TV. All cabins have either a gas grill or a charcoal grill in the summer season.
Some cabins have more amenities such as microwaves, VCRs, fireplace, dishwasher, washer/dryer and Jacuzzis. See individual cabin descriptions for added amenities.
What do I need to bring? Most of your basic necessities are in the cabin. My standard answer is, clothes, food if you wish to cook and a camera! (this is quite a beautiful area!) A roll of paper towels is never a bad idea especially if you have kids or like to cook. Charcoal and lighter fluid is a good item to bring for Riffles, Eastwind, Magalloway 1-12, Woodside and Lakeview. Other suggestions would include your favorite fishing rod, waders, mountain bikes, a canoe, kayaks, snowmobile, snow shoes, hiking shoes, your best friend, cross country skis, and a love of the great outdoors.
Non Smoking Cabins We reserve Cabins 4, 6, The Guest House, Riffles, Edgewater, RiverEdge, Loon Call, Hillside, Overlook, Otter Landing, The Camp, Magalloway 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and Starlight Cove as non smoking cabins.
Check In After 3 pm. Early arrivals may check in earlier if their cabin is prepared for them.
Check Out By 10:30 am. Later check outs are available with conditions in the winter.
Office Hours Our office hours are 8 am to 9 pm Monday through Thursday, Friday 8 am to 10 pm, Saturday 8 am to 10 pm and Sundays 8 am to 9 pm. Hours subject to change seasonally.
Minimum Stays On holiday weekends we require a three night minimum stay. These holiday include New Years, MLK, President's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and Columbus Day. Most weekends require a two night minimum stay.
Pet Policy Well behaved dogs and cats - We love them! We welcome them in all of our cabins except Cabin 4, 6, 9, 10, Magalloway 7- 12, the Guest House, Overlook, Otter Landing, Edgewater, The Camp and Starlight Cove. We have a few basic rules and a nightly charge. We ask that: Your pet is to be leashed when outside. Never leave your pet unattended in your cabin. Crate your pet if you need to leave them in the cabin. Pets are not allowed on beds or furniture. While our cleaning staff is very thorough, microscopic pet dander can cause irritation to other guests with allergies. If your dog is a 'barker', please be considerate of other guests and never leave them to disturb others. Please note that any pet damages will be added to your bill. For more info click here. Telephone For your convenience, we have a phone available for calling card or collect calls in our office. Currently the Pittsburg area does not have service for cell phones. The Kiley Cabin, Overlook, Hillside, Loon Call, Edgewater, The Camp, RiverEdge, Starlight Cove, Otter Landing and Lakeview have telephones.
Where to Eat There are numerous restaurants in our area; most within 5 miles. The 'Area Services' page can be helpful with recommended eating establishments.
Credit Cards We accept Mastercard, VISA, and Discover cards .
NH Fishing and Hunting Licenses We sell NH hunting and fishing licenses in the office during our office hours. Hunters should remember to bring with them either a license (previous or current) from NH or any other state or province or a hunting safety certificate. A driver's license is also helpful to establish residency. Licenses can also be obtained online at the NH Fish and Game website. Click here!
NH Snowmobile Registrations We sell NH snowmobile registrations. We need your driver's license, vehicle identification number, and sled info including engine size, color, make and model. A NH snowmobile club membership is required and we sell memberships to the Pittsburg Ridge Runner Snowmobile Club in our office.
Movie Rentals We offer a good selection of VHS movies for rent. We also rent VCRs for cabins which are not equipped with a VCR. Movie rentals are $2.00 nightly.
