Metallak Shores on First Connecticut Lake

In October of 2010, the cabins of Metallak Shores Resort on First Connecticut Lake became part of the Cabins at Lopstick. So what has changed? Check in and check out is handled at the office of the Cabins at Lopstick, 45 Stewart Young Rd in Pittsburg. The housekeeping staff at the Cabins at Lopstick will be caring for your cabin. Fresh towels are brought daily and your trash removed. The cabins are now all non-smoking but remain pet friendly.

For years, Doug and Linda Feltmate hosted many guests at Timberland Lodge & Cabins and Metallak Shores Resort. They offered great cabins in an awesome location! We are honored they chose the Cabins at Lopstick to manage their cabins. The Feltmates have retired but remain in Pittsburg.

As part of the Cabins at Lopstick, you can reserve your favorite Metallak Shores cabin online! We can create snowmobile 'Ride and Stay' packages for discounted stays when you rent snowmobiles. Lopstick is an 'Orvis Endorsed Fly Fishing Outfitter' and offers fly fishing and upland bird hunting guides as well as an Orvis pro shop. Lopstick has a fleet of kayaks for paddling First Connecticut Lake and beyond. Motor boats, canoes and row boats on outer ponds are also offered.
