Magalloway Mountain

Magalloway Mountain is one of our higher peaks with an elevation of 3,260'. The mountain is also the backdrop of our beautiful view from the cabin porches. There is a hiking trail to the summit where there is a fire tower to optimize the incredible view from the top. To access the hiking trail, drive north on Rte 3 to Magalloway Road (a well kept dirt logging road) Follow Magalloway Rd for 5 miles, turn at the sign and continue another 3 miles. The trailhead is where the road ends. There are two trails which lead to the summit. Both take approximately 45 minutes. Good walking shoes and a water bottle is recommended for the trip.
