Seven acres and totally spring fed, this northern pond is home to brook trout, osprey add the occasional moose. This pond's water is very clear and you can see to the bottom over the entire pond. This is unusual here in the Northwoods as our ponds normally have a peat/mud bottom. Access to this pond is easy over a good gravel pond. This pond is a good bet for early season trout fishing in our area.

Fishing Season: 4th Saturday in April to October 15th
Brook Trout ~ 5 fish or 5 lbs whichever is reached first.

Directions from Lopstick; Take US Route 3 south 3+ miles to Back Lake Road, a right hand turn. Follow Back Lake Rd for approximately 2-3 miles to Moose Pond. Take a right onto Moose Pond Rd. Middle Pond and its unimproved boat launch area are on the left 1.5 miles on Moose Pond Road.
