Big Brook Bog

37 acres at full elevation, Big Brook Bog is a fly fishing only pond. Home to brook trout and loons, currently Big Brook Bog is drawn down awaiting dam reconstruction by th NH Dept of Enviromental Services. This is a beautiful area and abundant with wildlife. Moose, deer, bear, woodcock and grouse frequent this area. It's also a nice spot for a picnic!

Fishing Season: 4th Saturday in April to October 15th
Brook Trout ~ 5 fish or 5 lbs whichever is reached first. Fly Fishing Only

Directions from Lopstick: Take US Route 3 north to Big Brook Bog Road. Big Brook Bog Rd is the second logging road on the left in the Headwaters tract. Follow gravel road and take the second right to access the pond.
