Blog Blog Bloggity Blog, well here we are once again. Lots have happened over they winter but somethings haven't changed.

The ice has gone out up here, despite the winter and tons of snow. We also had that spell of unseasonably warm weather. It melted most of everything in good fashion. The ice has been gone for two weeks or so and we've been fishing hard, and I've been guiding a lot already. Everyday out has been quite the success at times a bit slow but with perseverance we always have end in strong fashion.

The inlets to Lake Francis and 1st Conn. Lake have been the hot spots. We've been catching salmon, rainbows and browns. Each day is a little bit different, some days they hit better on nymphs and some days they hit better on streamers.

Within the past several weeks there have been reports of numerous stockings of both the rivers and quit a few ponds.( If the ponds aren't behind the gates, which are not open yet). There seems to be quite a few anglers up this weekend and also quite a few good reports of success. Back Lake has had at least one stocking and a few rainbow have been caught there. We really need some rainy drizzly days to cool things down and even them out a little bit. But for right now the smelt are running and you all should get up here and take full advantage of it.

We'll talk to you soon, If you need any info just give us a call or stop by.

   PEACE tight lines,
