Howdy, Howdy, Howdy, what's happening you all. Well things up here are hot, and I'm not just talking about the weather. Boy it's been hazy, hot and humid these past several days. It certainly has been a pleasure wading around the river the past few days. With the cold water temps it's like natural air conditioning.
This past week our water levels in some parts of the river have dropped on because the swollen rivers from the recent rain that came in about a week or so. The rivers right now as far as I'm concerned are in great shape. Temps are great and levels are fantastic.
This past week things have really exploded. We've had some great caddis fishing early in the morning and good B.W.O's in the evening. The ponds have had a very generous amount of stocking and we've had nothing but great reviews of the fishing there. There are certainly a few crowds here and there but I think there is still a lot of fishable water especially if you don't mind walking a little bit.
There seems to be plenty of fish out there and even today we found some beautiful salmon still up in the river. That is always a delightful treat. We've been catching quite a few fish, everywhere from the trophy stretch to ponds to puddles. It's been a lot of fun and always exciting.
Well there is no better way to beat the heat than to get out on the river. Folks we're looking forward to meeting you and helping you to catch more fish. Just let us know.
PEACE tight lines BILL
