This past week has been another busy week from small stream bushwaking to the trophy and drifts all the way through bass fishing this weekend. It may be everyday but it is not routine or boring. It's all been great, these have all fished well. The only thing I would lay off is the small stream, the levels are going down and temps are rising. All the others have been fine the temps on the Conn. have been 60 and barely above, fantastic. This past week they brought the flows up below Murphy dam which is a well welcomed change. We've had some great hatches as of late. My favorites are the Caddis, caddis is as caddis does and the fish have responded. The floats have been slightly more selective but very productive. I love the fact of fishing for wily actively feeding fish, it can be frustrating but also very satisfying.
