![]() Well this is, in all to much the beginning of the end. An all to familiar time of the season To all that have been up here the past week or so you all know that it hasn't been easy. But with that said the rewards are sweeter to work for these jewels of the Conn. The past few days have been real crazy weather wise. There has been a lot of rain recently and some serious wind on top of all that. There has been even some frosty mornings one of which was this morning where there was ice on the puddles I awoke at 29 degrees, 33 degrees when I left for work, putting on half frozen waders certainly has a slight appeal, it makes you feel alive and slightly dedicated, if not, you should be committed. The water temps today were 48 degrees below 2nd and 52 below 1st. As the same in the past few weeks with perseverance the days have paid off. No one can take that away. If you work hard and you get a fish, for myself the day is a success, and if you work hard and you get a dozen or even a nice one all the better. You should never get discouraged the next cast could change everything. The next week will prove to be also another one with drifts and bass fishing to round it out. There may be some trout and bass after the season closes, we'll have to see as time allows. Once again I want to thank you all for patronage, it means an awful lot to me. I couldn't do with out all of you. Less than a full week left, what will these last days have in store? Peace, tight lines BILL >~`}}'> |
