Bill's River Blog Aug 24, 2009 Morning folks. How is So what's been happening? Well we've some hot, hazy, humid days. Fairly uncomfortable, but it's always nicer on the river. Finally summer weather. We've also had some rain but not enough to mess anything up just enough to cool things down. The fishing has been great. They just stocked some more trout and there eager. The water flows are down this week, which means in certain areas this allows wading to be easier and be able to access more water. We've some great hatches this past week. The trophy stretch has a good hatch of caddis and stoneflies, with b.w.o's and sulphers. And on the drifts, we've got a lot caddis, bwo's, sulphers, flying ants and hoppers. It's been a great week to be on the water.. We've been everywhere. Wading the trophy stretch and the small streams, we've been drifting the Connecticut and the Androscoggin rivers and even been do some Smallmouth Bass fishing down on the reservoir. Life's grand.....There's been a few people out and about recently but it hasn't effected our fishing. Have a great week folks and come on up and cool down with us. If you have any questions for us, please let us know.
PEACE tight lines, BILL >~:'}}'>
