The fishing up here has been real good this past week also. The water flows have dropped in some areas and been raised in others. Over all the fish have been dispersed with the higher water flow and in some sections have brought new fish up from the lake. Everyday and all day we have found fish, the sunny days at times can be tough but we still seem to find a few. We took a float trip yesterday on the lower section of the Connecticut the water temp was only 64 degrees. Perfect trout temps and as the day wore on and the sun left shadows on the water the fish started to rise. These warm days lend themselves nicely to evening hatches. We have been fishing a lot of caddis patterns and always b.w.o's. we've had some luck on grasshopper patterns but not very much yet. Maybe just haven't hit the day right yet. Well I'm looking forward to another great week and another chance to catch some more wonderful fish. You all should come up and join us. I looks like we should have some good weather this week and a whole lot of great angling.

Blog folks blog, blog, blog, blog, what a blog and what a great day for a blog, what a wonderful day it is. It's beautiful up here right now and yesterday was also a gorgeous day. It's funny and fly anglers we always wish for the perfect day although it very rarely ever comes. We don't want it to rain to much but on the other hand a high bright sunny day is not always the best. Yeah what can you do, just go for it. Fish and fish to the best of your ability. If you remain diligent it will generally pay off for you.
